So I got on Yahoo today and saw that somebody had “attacked” Kim Kardashian (during a recent red carpet event) by throwing flour all over her. (Here is a link to the story.) And this is something I wanted to talk about.. and it was too long for Twitter.
I completely disagree with attacks like these.. Dont get me wrong. Im not a Kim Kardashian fan AT ALL! In fact I think she is one of the most overrated, ignorant people to walk this earth. She did nothing but fuck people and spend her daddy’s money to get famous, and I dont agree with that. But listen, just because I dont like her, doesn’t give me the right to physically attack her.. Especially at her place of work. She was at this event to promote her fragrance. It was her job. And some bitch comes up and throws flour all over her? I didn’t see Kim Kardashian go to that woman’s job and attack her! Kim Kardashian isn’t ruining your life by doing what she does.. If you dont like her, THEN DONT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO HER!!! Dont buy her fragrance. Dont watch her TV show. Dont talk about her. IGNORE HER! DONT ATTACK HER!
And then there are the people in the “comment” section saying “Yeah! Thats what she deserves!” “Fuck that bitch!” “Yeah she’s stupid!! Glad this happend to her!” … WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? She doesn’t deserve that! She doesn’t deserve to be attacked at her place of business! Did she murder your child? Did she kill an endangered species? Did she give you and your family AIDS!? No.. she didnt.. she really didnt do ANYTHING to YOU! All she did was get rich and famous for nothing.. and while you may not like that, you STILL dont have the right to attack her.
Another thing I think is fucked up.. When bands get shit thrown at them at shows.. That shit is NOT cool! Like this video of Justin Bieber getting a water bottle thrown at him.
Ive performed on a LOT of stages.. some huge and some small.. and let me tell you, you cant see SHIT past those lights. You can BARELY see the audience sometimes.. so if somebody were to throw something at you, you would see it at the LAST second and BARELY have time to react.. and so you would end up getting smacked in the head by some jealous kid with a water bottle.
And that shit.. is NOT fair.
So you dont like Justin Bieber? DONT GO TO HIS SHOW!!! DONT LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC!!! DONT BUY HIS STUFF!!! But dont ruin it for someone else who does. He is doing his job! That is his place of work!
I dont give a fuck if its Nickleback, or some other shitty artist or reality TV star, or actor, or Snooki..
NOTHING give you the right to attack these people just because you dont like them..
Thats bullying. You see someone you dont like. Something you dont understand. Something your jealous of. And instead of just letting it be, you ATTACK it.
